The stowbase.org software package is not an end-user application. It is a special kind of database intended to be useful for operational container shipping data like vessel release files, load lists, stowage plans, vessel and operational schedules, vessel profiles, and port terminal layouts. Stowbase.org is free and open-sourceStowbase.org is free and open-source. Everybody is invited to write commercial, closed-source software that uses stowbase.org, but the protocol and the default implementations are all free. All code is published under the ISC license.
